This year’s final round was another breezy one although a bit warmer than it was in previous weeks. Joel Stewart’s fine shooting ability rose to the top once again. His 282 HOA total topped runner-up John Kanyuck’s 269.
Dan Rogowski finished up his two final weeks by firing a 23 & 25, a 141 total, to take skeet first edging out runner-up George Kirik by one.
Because of our one prize per shooter rule, Joel & John’s trap scores were not eligible. Katie Kanyuck and Jim Courtwright tied with their 134’s. Jim left the club early before a shoot-off might’ve been held, so Katie took the first place prize.
With 31 shooters paying their $7.00 prize fee, there is $217 to be shared amongst the 1st & 2nd division winners.
A big thanks to all the 31 participants this winter, making it our best turnout yet! Given the hard to find ammo and component situation, this was excellent. See you all again next fall for our next skeet/trap league, and as always, bring a friend.
Don’t forget our registered skeet shoots this spring and summer. See our “2022 Registered Shoots” page for details.
