2023 Winter Skeet/Trap League

Well we were hoping for a couple of “decent” warmish days during the league, but it wasn’t to be this winter.  Here’s hoping we see some shortly.

Joel Stewart (276) continued his trap mastery which brought him the HOA prize.  With his fourth straight, he managed to drop just three trap targets (147) this year.  However, he only managed a 19 in skeet which opened the door for Jim Courtwright who need to shoot two rounds to finish.  Jim finished just one target back (275) of Joel for HOA runner-up.

In trap, due to our “one prize per shooter” rule, Greg Schweitzer took first place with his 137 while Gary Dickerson took runner-up shooting 134.

In skeet, George Kirik (141) held onto his lead over Mike Wojtecki and Steve Anderson to take first place with Mike just one back at (140).

Thanks for all who came out this winter to support our club and we hope to see you all back next fall for the next Ken Hanlin skeet/trap league.  Going forward, we’ll be here on Sunday March 19 & 26, starting about 9:00am and then starting Thursday April  6, we’ll begin our summer hours for skeet, trap, and occasionally our version of sporting clays.  We begin shooting around 2:00pm after club grounds maintenance.  The pay isn’t very good (none) but any help would be greatly appreciated!
